Resume Sunday Hymn singing and potluck
Next Sunday is the last Sunday of the month. We will resume our singing songs from the hymn books in our traditional acapella style, without musical instruments. This coming Sunday evening, September 26th, at 5pm.

A potluck dinner will follow and to honour all the students returning to trade school; college or university, the theme will be Macaroni and Cheese with ice cream sundae's for dessert. So if you are planning on attending, if you would please make a large pot of your favorite Mac & Cheese recipe to share, some veggies also. The meal will start about 6pm in the fellowship room downstairs. The ice cream fixings will be provided. Please contact V. Roberts if you have any questions or would like to help with set-up or clean-up.

Congregational singing
Usually the last Sunday of the month, singing songs from the hymn books in our traditional acapella style, without musical instruments.
We usually have a fellowship meal which is often a pot-luck style. Each member brings whatever they like, a dish that is a little more than what they might serve their family so we can invite visitors to say and eat with us.
THIS EVENT IS SUSPENDED FOR THE SUMMER (May through August).
We will resume on Sunday, September 26th, 2010, 5pm at the building.

Progressive Dinner
Shelbourne Street Church of Christ Fellowship Events - posted by Dan Hickman
Progressive Dinner
Friday June, 4th at 6pm SHARP - meet at the Church building.
A fun bit of fellowship for adults (college and older).
Joan Mann and Rob Davies - organizers.
Here are the details:
1. Dinner: yes, the evening meal with fellowship in mind.
2. Progressive: spread across finite time and space. (2 or three hours around town).
3. Secret locations: ONLY the volunteer host person/couple will know location of their entree.
4. Secret entrees: you'll find out as we go along.
5. Revealed ingredients: EVERY attendee/attendee couple will be contacted and asked to bring an ingredient and we'll let you know where to take it and when.
6. Travel to locations around the city: All host locations have already been chosen. Please don't feel that you can't come because you can't host people in your home.
7. Sign up: while there is no cost you need to sign up so we can plan well. LOGISTICS is the watch word for this event. Be sure to list your phone number so we can phone you with the ingredient needed.
For further information - won't be much, as part of the idea is secrecy - Contact Joan Mann.
